Uri had an early interest in digital modeling and visualization, heading the animation division of the robotics team at Gunn High School in Palo Alto, CA. His passion for design throttled Uri across they Bay Area, where he majored in Architecture at UC Berkeley and graduated top of his studio class. Despite his inclination towards architecture, Uri chose to adapt his skills for a position as a product designer at NEATO Robotics.
Uri graduated in 2010 from Art Center College of Design with an M.S. in Industrial Design. He worked at NONOBJECT, where he was a key modeler for Branko Lukic's book, NONOBJECT: Design Fiction. Uri is currently a full-time employee at Zee.Aero, where he is applying concepts developed for his master's thesis regarding automation and interaction design to electric civilian aircraft.
